Off to the races!

The Chicago Bulls are looking really good this year. Even though Miami is truly laying out their capabilities, especially after that series against the Celtics. They have three star players, which really showed in the end. Even so Derrick rose is portraying everything an MVP should. He is consistently scoring 30 points or more if needed and dishing out assists like none other. Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer are naturally helping him in all senses and other players are stepping up. Keith Bogans to mention one has showed true talent.

Another possible threat that the Bulls have to consider is the Memphis Grizzlies! Even though they aren't considered a serious contender, their current play style is looking too good to ignore. They took care of the Spurs and even though they are against the tough Oklahoma City Thunder they still have a strong chance of advancing.

Celtics beat Heat!

I was sure this would be an incredibly boring series since the Miami Heat have quite literally been on fire and the Celtics on the other hand... well not so much. But I guess Doc Rivers decided that he had had enough and gave his players some new energy. The Celtics were on top the whole way through and the Heat was only able to win one quarter! This truly puts a smile on my face because I really hate what Miami has tried to do combining three so called "solo" players and solving their problems that way. What the play isn't good basketball in my opinion even though it may be very effective to an extent.

I was reading about Kobe Bryant's and Phil Jackson's relationship and it really worries me.

"Jackson might go out like ... this?
In the ultimate contradiction to his legacy, in the least symbolic way, he just might go out like this. The Lakers need to win four of the next five, with three on the road, to avoid second-round elimination for the first time since 2007. It's the kind of comeback that is not possible with the current approach and execution. They need a big recovery just to make the series competitive.
If most any other organization were getting bum-rushed like this, appearing unprepared for the most important time of the season, the coach would be getting measured for an apple in the mouth and a spit. Jackson has so far escaped such level of scrutiny.
Part of that is that his Lakers already have been drenched in success. Part is that there are easier targets for blame -- china doll Pau Gasol, Ron Artest after his cheap shot on J.J. Barea that earned a suspension for Friday's Game 3 at American Airlines Center, the bench that hasn't produced. Part is that this moment probably wasn't far off from happening either of the previous two seasons that ended with downtown parades. Jackson deserves credit for holding it together this long.
Yet the inescapable truth is that Jackson is not reaching the Lakers, whether because his message has worn old or because nobody would reach these guys. The fact is, this has gone bad on his watch. It could be a humbling exit to a Hall of Fame career."
That is quoted from NBA.com I do not own the rights to it nor did I write it. Just found it interesting.
To start you off here are some of the best plays of the post season from the 5th of May! ENJOY!

Story of my life

So this is going to be a blog about basketball, which as I mentioned beforehand is my favorite sport and very close to my heart. I hope all my readers will enjoy my insightful and witty comments relating to current events on the court and the history of this fine sport.

The beginning of basketball

In the words of the great Lil' Bow Wow "Basketball is my favorite sport, I like to dribble up and down the court" and so on.
